As paw parents\, wouldn’t you wish to possess all necessary skills to handle any emergency that might befall your beloved canine companion? Brace yourselves then\, as we embark on a deep dive into an enlightening one-day course designed specifically for this purpose. This course isn’t merely a lecture—it’s an immersive experience where knowledge meets practicality. Taught by seasoned paramedics the class involve demonstrations and hands-on skills practice\, offering the perfect blend of theory and real-world application. Our comprehensive class content covers over 30 critical first aid topics. It’s not all talk either! We make use of high-quality K9 CPR manikins for you to perform ‘mouth-to-snout’ breathing and compressions\, simulating real-life emergency situations. One of the highlights of our curriculum includes special training on handling choking emergencies—since choking has been the leading cause of trauma death in dogs since 2017. \nWhy Should You Enroll? \nThe advantages of attending this carefully crafted course abound. It equips you with invaluable skills that can be the difference between life and death for your furry friend. That certainty alone can be priceless. \nConclusion \nIn conclusion\, this K9 First-aid and CPR course is not just a ‘can’\, it’s a ‘must’ for every dog owner. SUMMARY:November 16th - Fundraiser Course! - Aurora CO
DESCRIPTION:LOCATION PENDING: \nInto: This is a fundraiser course for L.O.L.A’s. L.O.L.A.’s Rescue is a non-profit animal rescue organization. Based in Colorado\, they provide services for Colorado and the surrounding states. Our rescue was founded on the idea of being able to save as many at-risk animals as possible from uncertain futures while upholding the highest regard and values for animals in our care.  Our concentration is on animals from high-kill shelters and at-risk animals in abuse\, neglect\, and abandonment situations\, reducing the number of euthanasia (due to overcrowding) in our shelters and surrounding areas. We rehabilitate these animals so they can be placed in unique\, loving homes without the threat of an uncertain future. We are proud to donate $25 per student back to L.O.L.A.’s. \nLocation: We will be at the Lotus School for Excellence\, which is located at 11001 e Alameda Ave. Aurora\, CO 80012 \nUnleashing the Power of Knowledge: The Ultimate K9 Emergency Care Course: \nLet’s face it: Our dogs are more than just pets – they’re family members almost equivalent to our blood ties. As paw parents\, wouldn’t you wish to possess all the necessary skills to handle any emergency that might occur to your beloved canine companion? Brace yourselves as we embark on a deep dive into an enlightening one-day course designed specifically for this purpose. This course isn’t merely a lecture—it’s an immersive experience where knowledge meets practicality. The class involves demonstrations and hands-on skills practice taught by seasoned paramedics\, offering the perfect blend of theory and real-world application. The intent is to fortify your understanding of K9 first-aid\, bolstering your confidence to tackle any unexpected incidents involving your dog. Every participant will receive a K9 First-aid and CPR wallet certification as a bonus! Lifetime certificates are also available! \nCurriculum Overview \nOur K9 First Aid and CPR course spans a total of 6.5 hours. This duration is carefully planned to ensure you have ample time to absorb the information\, ask questions\, and practice hands-on skills. We believe in the importance of understanding over rushing; hence\, we’ve allocated enough time for each participant to grasp the concepts thoroughly. Our comprehensive class content covers over 30 critical first-aid topics. It’s not all talk\, either! We use high-quality K9 CPR manikins for you to perform ‘mouth-to-snout’ breathing and compressions\, simulating real-life emergencies. One of the highlights of our curriculum includes special training on handling choking emergencies—since choking has been the leading cause of trauma death in dogs since 2017. \nWhy Should You Enroll? \nThe advantages of attending this carefully crafted course abound. It equips you with invaluable skills to differentiate life and death for your furry friend. The ASPCA states that one in four dogs would have a dramatically better outcome if only one first-aid technique were applied. It’s not just about the practical skills\, though. The course also helps build confidence that you’ll be able to provide necessary care in any situation your dog might face. That certainty alone can be priceless. \nConclusion \nIn conclusion\, this K9 First-aid and CPR course is not just a ‘can’; it’s a ‘must’ for every dog owner. The motto here is clear: Equip yourself with the skills and knowledge today for peace of mind tomorrow. After all\, your dog’s life may depend on it. Emergencies don’t come announced. Emergencies strike when we least expect them. But with adequate knowledge and practice\, you can never be caught off-guard. You’ll have the confidence and ability to give your furry friend a fighting chance at a favorable outcome. So why wait? Join the K9 First-aid Course today – because nothing beats the power of preparedness. \nGround Rules: \nWhile we love all dogs\, we kindly request that you leave your furry friends home for this event. However\, service dogs are always welcome. We understand that learning can be intense\, so short breaks will be provided during the course. Feel free to bring any food or non-alcoholic beverages to keep your energy levels up. \nIf you have any food allergies or specific health ailments\, it’s crucial that you notify our instructors at least one week before the class. This allows us to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone. Your safety is our priority\, and we strive to make this learning experience as enjoyable and beneficial as possible for all attendees. \n\nCertification Options: \n\nBasic Course: $99 Includes a 3-year certification wallet card and the course handbook.\nPremium Course: $139: Includes a LIFETIME certification wallet card (Students may take a refresher course at no charge in the future with proof of original certification from K9 First-aid and CPR) and will also receive the course handbook. \nVIP- aka Big Dog Course $159: This is our most popular package as each student will get an autographed copy of the book K9 MEDIC UNLEASHED from author Eric “Odie” Roth.
